MiChild Matters is our bespoke child development curriculum. It was created by our practitioners and managers to ensure that every child in our care receives a rich, purposeful learning experience, tailored to their age and stage of development.
Every child’s experience at MiChild begins before they even walk through the door. Here is what a typical day looks like, from arrival to home time.
At MiChild, outdoor learning is not an afterthought. It is a fundamental part of every child’s day. Children go outside at least twice daily, regardless of the weather, because we know that some of the most powerful learning happens when children are free to explore, move, and discover in natural environments.
MiChild is a truly inclusive provider. We welcome children of all abilities, backgrounds, ethnicities and languages. One of our settings alone supports families who speak 47 different languages, and we use visual aids, flashcards, dual-language storybooks and multilingual staff to ensure every child and family feels understood and valued.
Every meal at MiChild is prepared fresh and on-site, every single day, across all 14 nurseries. Our kitchens are quality assured and food hygiene rated by the Environmental Health Office, and everything is cooked from scratch using ingredients from trusted, single-source suppliers alongside fresh fruits and produce.
