We’ll provide a seamless morning handover, with a designated key worker available to talk before you leave to go about your day in confidence. You can raise any points of note if you wish, such as any activities or affected sleep which may affect their day ahead. We’ll then welcome your child into the setting, ensuring that they’re content and ready to join the others and start their day.

We introduce a variety of exciting activities at play time. Our indoor and outdoor areas are optimised for the perfect balance of physical play, games and creative pursuits. This time is about more than just leisure, as play allows children to develop their confidence, social skills, motor skills and good health too. We provide additional resources to add value.

We’ll serve delicious dishes, drinks and snacks to children at key intervals in the day. Our sample menu includes tasty meals including fish fingers, vegetable curries and casseroles, all with added nutritional value. Mealtimes are also a further chance for children to interact with each other, so our key workers will sit by them to lead discussions where needed.

We adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage in all of our learning, with areas we cover including maths, literacy, physical development, arts and design, communication and language, and understanding the world. We present focused learning sessions in a way where children can express themselves freely, listen to others in the group and share thoughts.

Outdoor play is so important to children’s development, particularly as the world becomes less connected in many ways. Our sessions of outside play take place in our outdoor area, which inspires children to become closer to nature, build a sense of adventure and grow their social skills.

It is valuable for your child to get the rest they need to function well and enjoy their day. This allows them to gather energy and enthusiasm, maintain good health and approach the next sessions with renewed focus. Our comfortable sleep areas are set up to ensure that each age group takes the time they need to unwind. We're happy to work to your child’s sleep routine.

We know that you want to find out as much as possible at the end of your child’s day at nursery. When you come to pick them up, we’ll tell you everything you need to know, with a full handover detailing their activities and progress. You can ask us anything else you like – once both you and your child are happy, we can feel confident that we’ve done a great job.
